Modular Model Railway and Railroad Layout with German Model Trains in HO Scale

When Pilentum visited an exhibition for model railways, he saw this fine model railroad with German model trains in HO scale. The model railway layout was constructed as a modular model railroad layout with typical features of a landscape in Southern Germany. Therefore, a lot of German diesel trains and railcars are presented on this layout.

The model railway was built by a German model train club. Construction began in 2015 and each year, new segments and new modules were added. The model railroad has an area of approximately 9.5 meters x 3.0 meters and it is operated with the digital control from Roco and Uhlenbrock.
