On3 Narrow Gauge Model Railroad Layout and Trains of the Diamond and Caldor Railway

This On3 Narrow Gauge Model Railroad Layout was built by Georg Koch from Germany. The modular layout was inspired by scenes of the Diamond and Caldor Railway, which is operated in Diamond Springs in California, USA. The track has been built from scratch with real wooden ties.

Also the switches, which are originally made by PECO, have been modified and were installed on wooden ties. Finally, all buildings and bridges are scratch built from wood. The rolling stock is mainly manufactured by Bachmann, some shay locomotives have been weathered and also some coaches have been modified.
